The Herb Centre respects your privacy. This policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, and how long we keep it.
What we collect
- Account info — name, email, shipping address, phone (for Canada Post).
- Order info — items purchased, order value, delivery status.
- Payment info — Interac email/reference or Bitcoin transaction hash. We do not touch or store credit-card data.
- Usage info — anonymous analytics (pages viewed, device type) via first-party cookies. See our cookie policy.
Why we collect it
To process orders, ship to the correct address, verify age, comply with the Cannabis Act (2018), and improve the site. We do not sell, rent or share your personal data with third parties for marketing.
Who we share with
- Canada Post — name, address, phone for shipping.
- Payment processor — Interac / Bitcoin blockchain (transaction hash only).
- Law enforcement — only when compelled by a lawful order.
How long we keep it
Order records are retained for 7 years to satisfy Canadian tax law. Account records are deleted on request. Contact sales@theherbcentre.ca to request access, correction or deletion of your data (PIPEDA rights).
